Hoping for a snow day? We’re kicking off this year’s holiday countdown with a Holiday Q&A and then our review of The Ultimate Christmas Present (2000). It’s been a little while since we last reviewed a Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM), but the nostalgia and plot formula are pretty much universal across the board! There are even a few familiar faces from other holiday movies and beloved Disney or Nickelodeon TV shows who crop up in this tale about LA tweens looking for a quick way to start their Christmas vacation early. As always, we have to ask: is this DCOM a clever take on the spirit of the season? Or should we make like Santa and toss it into the garbage with the weather machine? Let’s find out together!
