The profile of women's football is on the rise, with all the talk based around the Women Super League and how it growth is important. But what is it like further down the pyramid of women's football? What is life like for a female footballer playing semi professional sport?

I was fortunate to meet with and interview the captain, of Dulwich Hamlet Women FC, Brit Saylor. Brit talks about where things began for her. She describes what the key moment was which added more fuel for her love of the game. And she highlights the importance of having key legislation which addresses the imbalance around equal access and opportunity to the world of football.
