Safe water is not a privilege according to Dr. Parag Agarwal, founder of JANAJAL and social entrepreneur for 33 years. He realized that there was a big gap between demand and supply of pure drinking water, and that the price was exorbitant. 

This made him embark on a journey to use tech to deliver safe water for all. Janajal has been selected by the government of India for implementation of a $50 Billion drinking water scheme by 2024 under the Jeevan mission.
