When you think of Gaming Laptops you usually think of a machine that has some substantial size to it and although a lot of the machines we look at are relatively portable there is still nothing that comes close to the hybrid styles of the ROG Flow X13. I say hybrid because this machine is like a transformer, it’s “more than meets the eye” and has the ability to undock from an external XG Mobile eGPU device and become what you would think is a standard laptop device that surprisingly still has some grunt. Let’s start at the base machine, This is a very portable machine with its ultra-slim design sporting a 13” screen on a 360 hinge making it feel more like a business device for presentations and the like. The big difference though is this one has been enhanced with the style of a typical ROG machine to give it that ultra gaming edge. It has to be the only gaming machine I’ve seen that would easily slip into your bag and leave room for.. Everything else. I’ve said it before and it proves me right every time but I just prefer it when ASUS uses Ryzen processors in their gaming machines. The ROG Flow is complete with an AMD Ryzen 9 5980HS 8-core, 16 threaded beauty, so it’s built for high performance even when it's undocked from the XG mobile GPU. So it's powerful enough to use as a production machine and other work on, even play some games. But then you plug it into the XG Mobile eGPU and the game literally changes. This external graphics unit harnesses the power of a GeForce RTX™ 3080 GPU. the purpose build connection does away with the typical issues of bottleneck that you get from an external GPU and gives you up to 64 Gbps of bandwidth, with another 10Gbps reserved for USB link, allowing the external GPU to perform at its highest capacity.

International superstar Adam Lambert is set to perform a special show for fans on his birthday, to be live-streamed globally on 29th January (30th January in Australia) from The Roxy Theatre – Los Angeles’ legendary venue on West Hollywood’s Sunset Strip. Adam Lambert Live is presented by NoCap and will see the artist perform songs from his latest album Velvet, plus selections from his catalogue of hits, and more!
Two live performances will take place and be live-streamed worldwide at 12pm PT (7am AEDT on 30th Jan) and later at 7pm PT (2pm AEDT on 30th Jan) to allow for global viewing. Tickets are on sale now and available to purchase at https://nocap.show/adamlambert, where fans can also order exclusive show merchandise.
Of the shows, Adam said: “I’m so excited to be putting on a show for my fans worldwide. Velvet is Adam Lambert’s fourth studio album, released in 2020. The highly-anticipated full-length includes singles ‘Superpower’, ‘Roses’ (featuring Nile Rodgers) and title track ‘Velvet’
Adam was due to perform a 5-date Las Vegas residency at the Venetian and The Velvet Tour in Europe (including London’s Wembley Arena) last year, but these were unable to go ahead due to Covid-19. Further global dates with Queen (Queen + Adam Lambert) on The Rhapsody Tour were postponed until 2021.
ABOUT ADAM LAMBERT
After blowing everyone away on the eighth season of American Idol, Adam Lambert went on to release his debut album For Your Entertainment which included the international hit ‘Whatya Want From Me’ and earned him a Grammy Award nomination. Adam followed this success with his second album Trespassing, which became the first album to reach the number one spot in the US and Canada by an openly gay artist. His highly anticipated third album The Original High was his first for Warner Bros Records which was executive produced by Max Martin and Shellback and included the smash hit ‘Ghost Town’. Adam joined the cast of Glee for a six-episode story in 2013 and performed the role of Eddie in Fox’s The Rocky Horror Picture Show. He went on to judge on The X Factor Australia where his artist, Isaiah, won the show. Adam released ‘Roses’ featuring Nile Rodgers early February 2020, a track from his album ‘Velvet’, which was released 20th March. In October 2020, Queen + Adam Lambert released ‘Live Around The World’; a live album compiled of songs performed at various shows between June 2014 and February 2020. ‘Live Around The World’ hit number 1 on the UK and Australian ARIA album charts.
