On this week’s episode we spoke with third-year nurs­ing stu­dent Riv­er Steele Guil­las (1:01), who is set to be edi­tor-in-chief for the 2019 – 20 edi­tion of the Pro­ceed­ings of Manitoba’s Under­grad­u­ate Sci­ence and Engi­neer­ing Research (PMUSER) jour­nal. We had a chat assis­tant pro­fes­sor in the fac­ul­ty of arts here at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Man­i­to­ba, Dal­las Hunt (9:33), to talk about a chil­dren’s book he recent­ly released titled Awâ­sis and the World-Famous Bannock. Final­ly, local Man­i­to­ba band The Mid­dle Coast gave their thoughts (17:24) as they set to do their farewell show on Feb­ru­ary 2nd, as well as drop their final EP, as they plan to dis­band and pur­sue their solo projects.
