In this week’s episode we spoke with Niigaan Sin­clair, a pro­fes­sor in the native stud­ies depart­ment here at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Man­i­to­ba in regards to a recent lec­ture host­ed by the extend­ed edu­ca­tion divi­sion on the top­ic of social jus­tice in edu­ca­tion. Mile­na Pir­nat, chair of the edu­ca­tion com­mit­tee of the Man­i­to­ba chap­ter of the Cana­di­an Hemo­phil­ia Soci­ety and a Uni­ver­si­ty of Man­i­to­ba grad­u­ate, dis­cussed her work in the field of hemo­phil­ia research and sup­port. She also talked about her online sup­port group, Hemo­phil­i­ac Moth­er. Final­ly, we spoke with head coach of the Bison’s foot­ball team, Bri­an Dobie, to give his thoughts post-game after a tough 38 – 34 OT loss against the UBC Thun­der­birds. We close the show with a new track from Roy­al Canoe titled, ​“Peep This”. It is off their new album, Waver, set for release on Jan­u­ary 25, 2019.
