I am super excited to introduce you all to Crystal Young today. Crystal is the director of the Business Opportunity Center at Westshore Community College and I originally heard her back in May of 2018, she was presenting at the Michigan Recycling Coalitions annual conference.

That session was a little ditty named “Generational Communication: Flexing Your Language Style for Maximum Impact” and she killed it!

Crystal has agreed to bring you the best parts of her 2-hour presentation in just under an hour. There are some great looks into the secret sauce today folks and some concepts you may or may not have thought about to include:

  • General characteristics of the 5 generations
  • How do we communicate cross-generationally
  • How does each group relate and participate in recycling
  • Will texting replace email & how best to communicate
  • What is the Nine Shift
  • How the past always repeats itself
  • How each generation looks at their career path
  • What is the universal tool kit for communication
