Robert, a mental wellness advocate, and I start off our conversation talking about how we have become small to expand; sometimes this is a "playing small" for fear of being seen (in my case).
We speak plainly about some of the mental health challenges that we both face on an ongoing basis. We speak about the power of words to keep us stuck or to set us free. Robert shares passionately about how the word "stigma" must disappear from our vocabulary.
We speak at length about mental wellness, and the powerful language we can use to speak about our mental wellness habits, preferences and care practices in a way that validates how we are feeling, and ultimately frees others to do that same.
