Michelle Mitchell OBE is the current Chief Executive of Cancer Research UK, taking up this position in November 2018. As Chief Executive, she is ultimately responsible for the leadership and direction of the world’s leading funder of cancer research.

Michelle talks to Luisa Staley from Birkbeck's Development and Alumni team about her career in the charity sector, the challenges that lie ahead for cancer research and the importance of creating meaningful change in supporting more women into leadership roles.
