It’s January 18th - Reds suffered a desperately disappointing loss at Brighton last weekend , but last night recorded a nice win in the FA Cup 3rd round replay at Wolves to progress and as a reward, go back to the Amex one more time..Part 1 - Let’s start with Brighton:

• Anything good? What was going on?
• Midfield, formation, legs, mindset
  • Mindset - bloody hell, 3 of 4 seasons getting 90 points, 3 UCL finals - hard to ‘go again’. And those lucky B* at Arsenal are having it easy.

Part 2 - Victory over Wolves:

• 3 teenagers, absence of height, absence of pace
  • Bichatitch?
  • Pass to Keita yelled someone in our pub!
  • Daz - goalie?
• Konate, Thiago and Gakpo remained
• Keita, Milner, Gomez - all have been criticized by people on this pod
• Energy level was higher
• A decent refereeing performance - Andre Marriner?

• Chelsea did win last weekend
