Tell me about yourself. This is a classic question that many interviews start with. The interviewer is seeking a snapshot of your professional experience.

Two issues occur with this question. One is that the candidate gets too much information about their personal lives the interviewer does not need to know.

The second is that they do not know what to say or how to present themselves especially in terms of their career. It requires an aspect of self actualization to understand and answer this.
