On this episode, we are going to explore a few rhythm & blues classics that combine the sound of groove box drum machines with bare bones melodies and lo-fi multi-track recording techniques to produce one of the more niche sounds of 70's soul music.  Mainly, we are looking at two specific peaces of gear, the Maestro Rhythm King - MRK 2 and the built-in drum machine found in a Lowrey Organ, and how the impacted the music from a specific group of artists from Los Angeles and Miami.
