This week on The Transforming Anxiety Podcast we're talking about something new: empty thoughts.

Empty thoughts are:

  • Thoughts that pop into your head that have absolutely nothing to do with reality...like, "I can't handle this," or, "I don't know what to do here" <-- These thoughts can block our way forward because we believe them
  • Thoughts that ping-pong around in your mind but don't become reality...like, "I want to start meditating regularly," or, "I'd love to get closer to my partner" <-- These thoughts are basically dead on arrival because we don't intentionally breathe life into them

Identifying the empty thoughts in your repertoire is helpful so that you can dismiss them as untrue (a thought like, "I'm just not sure...") or intentionally bring vitality to them (a thought like, "I know I don't have to feel this anxious all the time").

Join me for this episode to learn about empty thoughts, what they look like, and what to do about them.
