No matter what kind of presentation you make, you have to find a way to create an authentic audience connection and engagement value.

Experienced speakers have had to rethink their approach to engaging audiences and delivering memorable presentations over the past six months, as the pandemic has forced events to become virtual. Talking at virtual events or speaking on stage at a live event cannot be compared to a one-to-one experience.

Whether it's a live lecture, a speech lesson, a pitch, or a report, you can use your body language, movements, sounds, and other cues to keep the audience engaged.

One way to make a presentation more interesting is to create an interactive experience. Instead of lengthy, bulleted paragraphs that need to be read aloud, use large images, short balls, and visual prompts for moderators. Create your complex material with multiple slides and animations if your customers want to print the presentation.

Try not to speak for more than ten minutes without any kind of audience participation. When making a personal presentation, carefully design your PowerPoint presentations to engage the audience. Remember, if you present in person, it is still a great idea.

Print out a local version of your slides for you so that you can continue your presentation even if you have trouble connecting to the Internet. Remember that your moderator or other moderators can transfer your slides to you when you are logged off, or if you lose your phone connection, your moderator can come in and inform the audience.
