We are about to embark on a sermon series through the books of First and Second Thessalonians. But to better understand what Paul is writing to the Christians in Thessalonica, we will first look at what went on when the church there was started, and how it came about. So the first sermon is this series is from Acts 17, where we are given the story of the planting of this church. It is an interesting story, and it is the story of Paul and Silas staying on message, despite the obstacles that came up. And that s the title of today's sermon - Staying On Message.
