I have my first “sub to deal under contract (woohoo). The existing loan has a balance of $550,000 and I want to make sure I don’t screw this up. Should I notify the lender and make sure they will not call the loan? I was told that if I obtain a new insurance policy they will notify the lender of a new buyer to be insured and will be made aware that the property has transacted, is this true? Any tips on this or any other steps during this process I should know about would be MUCH appreciated!
