Speaking for 2 minutesĀ

In Part 2 of the IELTS speaking test, you are given a set of prompts and a question which you need to present or speak about for two minutes.

It's important to keep going, which even Native speakers find a challenge.

The prompts are not particularly challenging, but follow a pattern to give you 'ideas' and 'structure' for your 2 minute talk.

This gives the examiner 'a further opinion' to your level and prepares you Part 3.

The main challenge students face is to keep going ( fluency) and be logical and understandable ( Coherence).
