Because IKEA is available globally, there is a thriving online community of hackers from all over the world sharing tips and supporting each other. In many cases, they are improving upon the design and functionality of the original IKEA furniture, so it’s perhaps not that surprising that the originator of the online forum has been threatened with legal action
