On Saturday, Nov 3rd, I was honored to be an opener, along with my buddy Johnny Monsoon, for one of Podium's top 100 DJs of 2017 and 2018 (#70) and Markus Schulz's breakout DJ of 2018, Stuart Turner of ARKHAM KNIGHTS, at Ora, Seattle!!! This was this Trance Star's Seattle debut appearance and it was so much fun to be the opener for this show, Stuart was a super nice guy and a bunch of his fans showed up to hear his dark Tech Trance style and he showed up to deliver with a blazing performance! For this set I paired up with one of my favorite Seattle DJ’s, a well known NW Trance DJ icon from the early days, Johnny Monsoon, and our set was recorded straight from the mixer at the club. John and I didn’t do any pre-show planning or rehearsing for this other than agreeing on a BPM range and a feel for the tracks we wanted to play to set the mood, so this recording is what organically evolved out of that, 100% figuring it out as we went, and the crowd was totally awesome whole time we played. Always have a fun time spinning with Johnny Monsoon, and looking forward to the next time. This set turned out to be a 1-hour and 48 minute journey through sound that progresses nicely from a moody progressive start into a driving Trance finish with a few interludes with some more euphoric and uplifting Trance thrown in there.
