"Anyone who parties knows that there is often a track in the night that for a few moments, stops your stomp while you fully appreciate the amazing piece of music, the DJ for playing it and the positive energy given off by the dancefloor faithful that surrounds you on your sacred spot, before you then snap out of it and dance every single one of your troubles away. You might have already guessed it, but Shack’s new masterpiece is very much one of those types of tracks!" [✊ Sid Wesley at Life Support Machine]

The thinking behind this piece was to create a piece of heavy, but joyously uplifting, rolling breaks that would transport people to a special place in space & time.

I imagined heading out to the Deep Playa in the heart of the Nevada desert with a beautifully dialled in sound system, closing my eyes and just dancing my heart out with wild abandon. In many ways this track owes as much to my love of heavy, hypnotic guitar music as it does the pure electronics of the dancefloor as it builds to a raging, ecstatic intensity with layer-upon-layer of synthetic and real-world drones.

In the heart of this global pandemic let's join together and touch the sky.
