Releasing on cassette tape as a C32, GOLDEN uses 4-to-the-floor kicks as a central element throughout with Skotvoid's unique and intuitive experimenting keeping the experience loose and relaxing. The sonic palette utilized is familiar to lo-fi techno, house, and electronic funk, all referenced with a surreal edge. The patterns and bass lines presented have a paradoxically chilled out urgency while other tracks present soothing pads that skirt the edge of vapor.
