Brainscapes is the project of Amsterdam based recording artist Alain Eskinasi, A.K.A DJ Raski.

Discography: Brainscapes (HigherOctaveMusic'96) Chakradancer (HigherOctaveMusic '97) Brainscapes2001(HigherOctaveMusic '00) Sacred Spaces (Oreade Music '09) Son of Chakradancer (Oreade Music '11) One track,'Arise" under the title 'Renascer' appeared on Didgeridoo Drum Dance (Compilation, Music Mosaic Australia '09 And in 2011 Brainscapes placed a track on the recently released Didgeridoo Bird Dance,on Music Mosaic,Australia. In 1996 Eskinasi ,with Frank Natale and Pim Kilian created the abum " Shamans Breath 'by Professor Trance & the Energisers,which was released on Island records in 1997 ,being amongst the first bands to combine worldmusic with EDM, setting a trend in Worldbeat & Trancedance.. Recently ,these tracks where used in "So you think you can dance-USA",in 2013 and 2014..Brainscapes' music has found its way into Feature films,Discovery Channel,and on countless compilations. For his work with Brasilectro act Electrococo,he received the Edison award in 2004. (the Edison is the Dutch Grammy award) Since 2001 Eskinasi has a production studio,based in Amsterdam. Brainscapes is constantly on tour .as a DJ,or as a band,but also as a music theatre project.
Raski is one of the resident DJ's at Barneys Uptown in Amsterdam..

This start with a recording of me walking on a wooden floor in my wooden cabin in Ojai in 1996,walking out into the high desert night to hear the crickets,as they weave their song at night...Things don't stay quit for long though..

This piece commemorates the journey I took with my good friend Richard Hardy during september 2001.as I was stranded in Sedona and needed to be in Los Angeles by sept 24...so we took a drive through the Mojave at night.without airco and 8 gallons of water to keep us cool..we made it ,but it was quite a roadtrip!
