The music is dedicated to superb flautist, Ali Ryerson. We consider ourselves fortunate to have seen Ali play her flute with the late jazz/blues legend, Joe Beck. Joe came up with the idea for Alto Electric Guitar. In the late 1990's we were absolutely mesmerized listening to the beautiful ensemble work by Ali and Joe on both nights they played in Kansas City at Dave Winslow's Club 427. We miss Club 427 a lot. It was a wonderful place to eat delightful food and listen to live jazz performances.
