In Sylphic, his second solo album, a sublunary sphere is imagined. According to geocentric cosmologies, this region of the cosmos from the center of the Earth to the moon, was believed to be comprised of the four classical elements (earth, air, fire and water). These four elements were identified by Aristotle, as the elements of bodies that are also subject to generation and corruption. Sylphic is inspired by this vision as a starting point for the construction of an eerie and intimate sound world.
