This track was written in 2001 when I was just 18 years old. I remember this being one of my first 'serious' sessions using Reason when I was given the opportunity to start teaching myself how to use the DAW on my brother's PC at our mom's house. I felt like I had got the hang of it after a number of hours figuring out how the Matrix sequencer worked (as, at the time, I didn't even have a MIDI keyboard) The track is me doing my best Kraftwerk impression. I never thought I would ever make it public or release it, however, I decided to do so after hearing about the loss of Florian today. This song even retained the title 'Kraftwerkian' on my hard drive, gathering dust, up until I decided to put it out today. I can't really explain what their music meant to me and countless people around the world. Today Electro lost one of the founding fathers and this track is my 18-years-late tribute to his eternal impact on the trajectory of my musical being.
