Something special was developing in London's rave culture during the mid-2000's. A generation of like-minded artists and promoters with similar tastes in house and techno formed a genuine scene with a spirit and alchemy that has propelled its instigators far and wide. Rich NxT was enjoying being part of the movement, frequenting the many seminal East London venues we still talk about now.
Born in 2008, FUSE London carved its own unique position on the scene with its infamous Sunday free parties at 93 Feet East. As one of FUSE’s original residents, Rich played a major part in the brand’s evolution, helping take it from a free afterparty to one of the most respected event brands and labels on the planet. As a core FUSE artist, Rich has delivered 11 classy EPs on the FUSE London imprint. In October 2020, the debut album ‘Know the Score’ lands, his crowning career achievement. The 10-tracker spans the full breadth of the house genre and is the culmination of 20 years production work, taking influence from his varied involvement in music as a DJ, raver, drummer in bands and pirate radio devotee, devouring the sounds on Weekend Rush FM.
Elsewhere the DJ/producer draws on his strongly identifiable sound to run two vinyl imprints,NxT Records and What NxT. The tastemaker favourites draw influence from techno and minimal house, while never forgetting Rich’s raver roots taking influence from jungle and hardcore.
His DJ highlights include appearances at most of the scene’s major venues such as DC-10 (Paradise, Cuttin’ Headz) Watergate, Space, Amnesia, Robert Johnson, Warehouse Elemenstratt, Mint Warehouse, Tobacco Docks, Studio 338 and The Warehouse Project. At the same time, he is versatile enough to command the decks over long sets at intimate venues such as Hopetosse, Ibiza Underground, Bret and CDV. Festival appearances in 2019 included Cocoon in The Park, BPM and Mint Festival.
Releasing regularly, he’s gained the support of many other DJs including The Martinez Brothers, Tini, Marco Carola, Enzo Siragusa, Jamie Jones, WAFF,Steve Lawler, MEAT, Matthias Kaden, East End Dubs, Alan Fitzpatrick, Eats Everything and Darius Syrossian.
Prior to his ‘Know The Score’ album dropping, Rich enjoyed an industrious first half of 2020, including a huge EP on WYLD, collaborative work with Darius Syrossian (Moxy Muzik) and remixes for INFUSE, Moan and SASH.
Meanwhile he continues to demonstrate a very keen ear with What NxT delivering the goods for new and established artists alike. Rich also continues his radio residency on Rinse FM with Fuse London and launches a new weekly show on Ibiza Global Radio

London-based artist and label boss Rich NxT returns with remixes from Oscillat co-owner Malin Genie and Argy, who most recently released on Moscow Records. Graduating onto its sixth release, NxT Records celebrates by looking back through its catalogue while serving up some new, refreshed cuts from two of Rich NxT’s favourite artists.
Both have been given free rein to choose from the back catalogue and remix a track of their choosing. First up Malin Genie is on fine form effortlessly showing why he is one of the kings of groove, taking on ‘Attery‘ from NXT004 which was championed heavily last year by Jamie Jones. Genie’s free flowing rhythm takes percussive and bass elements, gliding and rising all the way through.
On the flip the incredibly versatile Argy remixes ‘Sauna De Plastico’ from NXT002, rightly identifying the old DC10 feel as a starting point for a modern reinterpretation, bringing his influential sounds from the time bang up to date. Finally Rich NxT’s original of ‘Sauna De Plastico‘ is also included after it’s sell out second release, giving a second chance at owning this on vinyl only.

Hot Creations continue to bring the heat as they deliver the next release from German wizard Basti Grub. The emotive Darling also features a remix from FUSE favourite Rich NxT.
NGTD003 will be a collaboration between Amsterdam based Daniel Sanchez from Bla Bla music, and a New York based talent Amo. They came up with this new single. Rich Nxt from Fuse London delivered a pumping remix to go with it. Very promising indeed.

The next release on Santé’s AVOTRE is a series of continued debuts on the imprint courtesy of siblings Sean and Liam Willers aka The Willers Brothers , core FUSE resident and label affiliate Rich NXT and Moon Harbour’s Zohki.
Hailing via Manchester and now Berlin based, The Willers Brothers garnered momentum following a string of recent releases on the likes of Beste Freunde, EWax and their own We_R House they head up alongside Berlin’s Cinthie.

Rich’s last outing for the influential imprint was large by any standards, spreading far beyond the FUSE dancefloors finding support from many places. Led by EP track ‘Serious’, which was heralded as one of the tunes of 2018 by Mixmag in their mid-year review, it got love from Seth Troxler and the Martinez Brothers at Circoloco, alongside heavy rinsing of ‘Brigade’ and ‘Eight’ by all the FUSE residents.
The ‘Hard To Be’ EP comes as another on-point three-track work from Rich that channels the same versatile spirit. ‘Wah’ is an uplifting slice of original house, mirroring the accessibility and fun of ‘Serious’ with a catchy riff that runs throughout. The track created an enormous buzz on the IOM group with hundreds of comments and I.D requests pouring in throughout the year, and soundtracked parties everywhere from Fuse’s raves at Studio 338 terrace in London, Sonus Festival and The Martinez Brother’s Cuttin’ Headz at ADE. ‘Interrobang’ is head-nodding brilliance as twisted bass and sampled attitude characterise the seven-minute peak time banger. ‘On The Rocks’ rounds out the EP as punchy kicks and buttery smooth bass mark this work of grooving minimalism, echoing the spirit of Fuse029’s ‘Eight’.
And so closes the chapter of this impressive body of work. In the process it’s proved what we already knew all along; his knack for providing fail-safe dancefloor ammunition for the Fuse faithful and beyond, remains as strong as ever.

Absorbing limited vinyl only VA for the Romanian imprint's third release, carrying on the exceptional quality of first two releases. Rich NxT (Fuse - London) gives 'Penchant' for the A1, his first original material outside FUSE London and INFUSE for 5 years. The track is strong, laid heavy with bass and groove. Throughout the pace is kept and atmosphere whipped up with heady sounds that breeze through the listeners mind.
