Kia ora koutou katoa!
This week's episode is the final episode of Series One of The Convo Co podcast! To celebrate we are getting Shifty and talking about MOVING YOUR BODY!
For this special episode we invited Fran McEwen, founder of The Shift Foundation, to kōrero with co-host Kaitlyn about physical activity and how it relates to ALL other aspects of wellbeing. This week we also share some wonderful stories and comments from you, our lovely listeners, on your experiences of keeping active as young women! Kaitlyn and Fran share how their relationship to keeping active has changed throughout their lives and they address some of the negative experiences around moving your body, such as body shame. They talk about motivation, mindset and mental health. Oh, and the fact that sometimes simply putting one foot in front of the other is enough. This is a conversation about how shifting your body ultimately has the power to shift your mind.
