Composer John Kinsella talks about his work for the New Ross Piano Festival, 'Ros Tapestry Suite I: The Celts: An Island Fastness', based on the first in the Ros Tapestry series of panels depicting events around the Anglo-Norman arrival in the South East of Ireland, specifically the founding of the town of New Ross, Co. Wexford.

The work will be premiered during the 2014 New Ross Piano Festival by Finghín Collins and is one of 5 commissioned works, all based on the Ros Tapestries, by Irish composers.
