One week ago the homeless of Cape Town woke up to nothing! Dependent on the goodwill of others for their daily food and finances they found the streets of Cape Town virtually empty and most shops locked down for business. So where were they to go?

In the last week attempts have been made to round up the homeless and take them to the locations where provision should have been made by authorities. But, nothing appeared for most. So what has happened and what is happening?

In this episode we hear from Councillor Zahid Badroodien about the plans currently being put in place. We do an on location report from Strandfontein Sports Grounds where preparations are being made to receive 2000-4000 homeless people.
