BVSMV is an electronic, cinematic, lush synth music project. It combines Ambient, Retrowave, Dream Pop, and Synth Pop. He utilizes his love for 1980's nostalgia, analog synths, and dreamy atmospheres to create something that is unique to him.
Co-founder of Triplicate Records. Member of TimeSlave Recordings and Sleepless Collective.

An ambient dreamscape filled with hazy found sound, retro dreamy synths, and warm analog noise. 'In This Moment' continues my trend of fusing ambient, cinematic music with my Chillwave and Synthwave sounds, to heighten the emotional impact of my music. This was created pretty easily by improvising in the moment, by running through a slight arpeggio through my new Hologram Microcosm pedal, and then adding and subtracting parts based on the emotional trajectory of the track.
A lofi, Chillsynth track out now on Music for Migratory Birds on Triplicate Records. Both warm and icy at the same time, mimicking the cold Midwestern winter days when freshly covered snow hits the ground with the sun shining.

“Moments” is the new collaboration between BVSMV and Running In Slow Motion. The juxtaposition of the organic sounds coalescing with digital synths takes the forefront. The free-flowing ambient style of Running in Slow Motion and added with bouncing arpeggios lead to beats and rhythms that may have not come up in a typical BVSMV track.

Originally conceived as an LP follow up to 2017 LP "Skies", these tracks ended up split over the course of 2018. This is a compliation album of the tracks comprising of the "Float" EP, tracks off of the split "Oui" out on TImeSlave Recordings. Real Future originally track 2 off of "Float".

“Skies” is the debut LP from Milwaukee based producer BVSMV. After three EPs honing his sound, "Skies" is an aural journey consisting of warm 80s sounding analog synths and drum machines, processed guitars, and ambient soundscapes over the course of 11 tracks. The sound aims to be big and cinematic: large shimmering reverb and long delays that drift off into the distance. Like his name (which stands for bicycle versus motorvehicle) the goal of "Skies" is to make you FEEL. Even as things seem dark, there is always light around the corner. Whether it be a shifting cloud, or a clear star filled night, we all have been mesmerized by just looking towards the sky.
