In our first podcast series, we feature discussions from a webinar hosted by the center in July on Islamist Ideology and Al Shabaab in Eastern Africa, looking at recent developments in Kenya, Tanzania and Mozambique. CHRIPS hosted a webinar on 28th July to discuss the linkages in Kenya, Tanzania and Mozambique as a result of the presence of Al Shabaab in the region. The panelists comprising of academics and policy analysts traced developments within the three countries. Dr.  Eric Morier- Genoud senior lecturer school of history and anthropology at the Queens’s University Belfast presents findings of his ongoing study on Mozambique.
