I'm so excited to introduce to you Ti'Air Riggins, a Biomedical Engineering PhD candidate at Michigan State University. Ti' investigates implantable electrodes to tune immune responses in the brain, (AMAZING!) in the REIL lab under the direction of Dr. Erin Purcell. She is a current NIH F99/K00 fellow and was named a fellow in the Society for Neuroscience from 2016-2018. Additionally, she is in the speaker's bureau for the Rape and Incest National Network. She's an exceptional woman and I'm so happy she is able to share her story with you all and encourage women to pursue a path in engineering.

Please find a resource link for violence against women. There are outreach numbers located on this website and advocates are available 24/7 via phone, chat, or texting. https://www.justice.gov/ovw
