Kids these days…are up against a lot. Gen Z faces challenges that their elders couldn’t possibly prepare them for: surviving a pandemic, fighting climate change, and battling the ever-changing expectations for our bodies and our lives as seen in social media. The three of us identify as living “on the cusp” of Gen Z and millennials. We were all born in 1996, but grew up mimicking our older siblings (who each happen to be 5 years older than us - therefore, millennials to the core). In this episode, we explore the differences and parallels between Gen Z and Gen Y, and how Boomers and millennials raise(d) their children in our chaotic world.
