2023 was a HUGE year in the artificial intelligence (AI) movement.
It has been a year since ChatGPT was released, it now has approximately 180 million users and has stunned the world in how ‘Knowledge Work’ is produced. Its undeniable fact that AI is now the most transformative force in our lives. The year also witnessed a deluge of new products standing in the wake of large language models. We’ve hit a saturation point on the number of products available to solve every aspect of human creativity.
Fast forward to 2024, not only will the doors open to AI-powered technology for solving high-value enterprise use cases, there will some levelling off on the abundance of one off products. The low-value products targeted for run of the mill problems will largely be consumed by Microsoft and Googles of the world in their larger holistic enterprise offerings. A steady rise of solutions will be offered aimed at mitigating risks and bringing ethical principles of AI to practice. In 2023, many of this resulted in countless articles, theoretical debates, and academia-based research. This shift is largely owing to Biden's AI Executive Order and other emerging AI regulations in the EU and other regions. Further, there will be a steady uptick in advanced augmented AI models changing the future of work.
Join us as we gather to explore the Top 5 Trends in AI for 2024. We will discuss the evolving market trends, spotlighting practical applications of AI, ethical dilemmas, best practices for deployment and adoption, emerging privacy and security trends, and address biases for greater equity.
Attendees will gain insights on where to embark on their AI journey and discover the problem-solving capabilities of AI technology. Mark your calendars for an in-depth exploration of the "what's next" in AI—unveiling strategies, insights, and discussions to steer you toward a future brimming with innovation and opportunity.
OUR GUEST SPEAKERS:
Pam Kamath, Founder of Adaptive.AI, will be our guest speaker. Pam Kalamath's expertise and insights in the field of AI will offer a unique perspective on the evolution and future prospects within the AI landscape.

Business intelligence (BI) used to be so simple - in theory anyway. Integrate and copy data from your transactional systems into a specialized relational database, apply BI reporting and query tools and add business users. Job done.
No longer. Analytics, big data and an array of diverse technologies have changed everything. More importantly, business is insisting on ever more value, ever faster from information and from IT in general. A digital business demands that business and IT work together.
Business unIntelligence reflects the new reality that in today's socially complex and rapidly changing world, business decisions must be based on a combination of rational and intuitive thinking. Integrating cues from diverse information sources and tacit knowledge, decision makers create unique meaning to innovate heuristically at the speed of thought. This book provides a wealth of new models that business and IT can use together to design support systems for tomorrow's successful organizations.
ABOUT THE BOOK:
Great news! We are offering attendees a 25% off discount code, courtesy of Barry himself. Please use code: BlInsights25 to access this discount. More information and book sales can be found here.
ABOUT BARRY DEVLIN:
Dr. Barry Devlin, one of the earliest proponents of data warehousing, goes back to basics to explore how the modern trinity of information, process and people must be reinvented and restructured to deliver the value, insight and innovation required by modern businesses. From here, he develops a series of novel architectural models that provide a new foundation for holistic information use across the entire business. From discovery to analysis and from decision making to action taking, he defines a fully integrated, closed-loop business environment. Covering every aspect of business analytics, big data, collaborative working and more, this book takes over where BI ends to deliver the definitive framework for information use in the coming years.

The speed of business in today’s fast-paced landscape demands we find ways to improve outcomes while shortening the time-to-market for analytics projects.
To effectively bridge the age-old information gap between the business and IT, accurate and robust analytics requirements must be identified. Better requirements = better analytics = better data-driven organizations. We all know that it is the data-driven organizations that are poised to thrive in 2023 and beyond.
We believe that a key way to make this possible is through Behavior-Driven Design. Join this candid conversation between GDM CEO Julie Burroughs and CAO Mike Lampa as they discuss why they are so passionate about this practice.
If you've been meaning to take your requirements gathering skills to a new level in 2023, this is the session for you.

We all can agree that web and mobile applications offer a great way to automate business processes. However, there is another important value that can be gleaned from the app, and it's arguably just as important - the data.
And beyond just collecting data on an app, have you considered using the app as a way of sharing data? Presenting analytics insights via expensive reporting tools is not always the right solution. Modern options have arisen that allow you to access your data in the places it makes the most sense (aka NOT in a password-protected dashboard).
So - soup to nuts business process automation and business performance observation, all from your application. A lovely use of the technology and tools at hand. But - how do you make that happen?
Join this informative session to learn how best-in-class apps blend intention and intuition to automate the front-end business needs, collect the right data at the right time, and offer up a natural integration of the 'analytics last mile'.

Let us know if this sounds familiar:
A company invests in a great new piece of data analytics technology and spends time and resources getting it set up. A roll out ensues and then... nothing. It doesn't get adopted by the business users and the 'investment' heads towards 'sunk cost'. Why is this such a common story and what can we do to change it?
Turns out, data analytics professionals have more power to change this than they may think. Join our conversation with special guest Lee Feinberg as he shares practical advice on how to use data to tell stories that get business users engaged.

It doesn't need to be like this. With the evolution of new approaches and augmented technologies, data governance programs can now be delivered in one third of the time and for a third of the cost. Value is continuously delivered all along the way, which promotes a thriving data culture.
Please join our data governance team as we walk you through the fundamentals of a robust agile data governance program and how it can be applied to your organization.

Human Resources teams are usually on their own island when it comes to managing their HR analytics program. Due to the sensitive nature of their data, traditional IT and data teams err on the side of caution due to privacy concerns and avoid integrating critical HR data into their enterprise-wide analytic data solutions. Another challenge is the small HR teams typically do not have the analytics background and skills needed to develop valuable data and analytic products and tell a compelling story about the HR insights generated from those products. This impedes the progress towards a data driven culture for people management and development. HR teams would benefit from adopting modern data management and analytics solutions and approaches that range from self-service analytics to the continuous deployment of properly curated and secured HR data products that enable more ubiquitous access to workforce analytics. Join us for this collaborative session with Michael Chen, Senior Manager, People Analytics at Post Holdings and Mike Lampa, Advisor at Great Data Minds as they discuss the importance of the analytics program to the Human Resource organizations. What you will learn: - The evolving trends in HR analytics - The most valuable Key Performance Indicators and Metrics for HR leadership - Recommended Modern Approaches and Technologies for HR Analytics
