Week 31: The focus was on letting ideas flow and see where it leads. I started the project with the bass line then built melodies and drums around it. I’ve left a couple of days between sessions and then worked on pads, arrangement and other sound effects. By doing so and leaving space between sessions, I realised that the first idea I had at the beginning had changed and I now had two ideas merged together. Which make the end result a bit confusing in terms of coherence.
So next time, I’ll make sure that: - I have an idea before I start; - and stick to that idea from the beginning till the end of the project. In the meantime, I hope you’ll like it.
