The CBS Secondary School Choir was founded in 2010 with a view to providing a platform for students who were interested in choral singing. Since then the choir has gone from strength to strength and has won many awards and accolades. The highlight each year is the Kilkenny Music Festival, where once again, the choir won First place in the Male Voice Category.

In 2014 the choir reached the Regional Final of the RTE All Island School Choir competition. The choir is made up of boys from 2nd to 6th year. The motto of this choir is the pursuit of a high standard of choral singing, with a strong emphasis on fun!
