Formed in 2014, UCC Singers is the competitive choir linked with UCC Choral Society. The choir consists of 30 members and is reformed every September for the new college year, welcoming students from all faculties of the university. Most recently, UCC Singers were invited to perform at the 11th Musical Miscellany Evening in Cork in aid of Cork International Choral Festival, The Simon Community, and Medicine Without Borders. The choir also competed in the Mixed Voice section of the City of Derry International Choral Festival 2019 where they placed second with a score of 90%. UCC Singers aim to represent the university at a local and national level and spread the joy of choral singing throughout UCC and the wider community.
