Wicklow Parkinson's Choir is for people with Parkinsons, family members and friends. Started in 2014, the choir meets every Monday morning in the Ashford Community and Heritage Centre, led by Musical Director, Dara MacMahon. The choir is a place to come together in a community of support, positivity and fun. After a two year absence during Covid, when many cherished members and friends were lost, it is wonderful to be meeting again in person. The choir recorded A Galway Blessing at their weekly rehearsal last Monday, which happened to coincide with World Parkinson's Day on 11 April.
