The Book of 1 Peter was written by the Apostle Peter who walked with Jesus, ate with Jesus and even denied Jesus. But He was restored and given grace to then move ahead in building God's Kingdom here on earth. Jesus gave him a Shepherd's love for His people even as Jesus had for us.
