I love Spanish guitar and this is totally out of my league but started off with a slow Flamenco style track to get a feel for it just to try....I'm wrestling with myself trying to stay away from the blues in this one and learn all these outside the box notes?? Anyway this is how far I made it after 3 days of playing the same track over and over to get the feel...speed will come in time if I keep playing it but a lot easier to listen to artist that no what there doing for SURE!!!!! :D

Some songs should never be covered but this was a challenge from a friend from 3 years ago and she's still waiting until now!!! She said it dosen't need vocals or perfect in any way so found a backtrack and give it a go....No One can play it like Eric and it's a very personal song for him but I have to get this done somehow because I said I would try it without being judged to severely!! Maybe I will but I was as careful as I could possibly be.....She's aware I can't sing so bare with me!!! :D Headphones might be a good idea.............. LMBO
Only did the guitar work over a backtrack but haven't played in awhile with life getting in the way with another hurdle to get over and a couple of you are aware but such is life!!! Been messing around with my CASIO keyboards and learning some 3 note sounds/& a few notes to highlight this track so tried to figure it out over a blues track and the synth took some work let's say being a newbie...was asked why there was no guitar on the last one so spent about 5 min's doing that hahaha....Not the best but give it a spin!! Heads exploding trying to get this!!! :D If you don't like it....that's fine!! Just a effort!! ;)No loops or perfect samples!! plink a plink!!! LOL

Decided to pack it in Friday Dec.15th/2017 for retirement and the wierd part was when I got home there was a present on my porch all wrapped for Christmas and in a plastic bag to keep the snow off it!! This backtrack is about 17 minutes long and kept playing it over and over but this take I cut short....give myself 5 minutes to play something that felt good...kinda lost track of time Ooops!!! Blues is one thing but shuffles seem to be a wrestling match for me so worked on Major/Minor and a touch of Dorion plus be fast enough to make the changes....I think this is about as good as it's gonna get for now!! Just made something up with a drum beat and went with it....love this axe!! Needed no tweaks other than a guitar player that no's what the hell there doing!!! Oxblood Red is the color hence the name :D

To all of our musical, arty, goatie, sheepie, creative and skiing friends out there, it is with great sadness that I have to say Allen was ‘stolen’ from me on Thursday 14th April 2016. Allen was a totally wonderful husband, a cherished son to Tom and Ivy and loving brother to Jackie and Monty – to say he will be missed is an mega understatement. I will keep all his songs on Soundcloud for as long as possible for all to hear. A service will be at Perth Crematorium, Friday 22nd April 2016, 4.00pm.

Just got my baby outta the hospital!!! Thought I needed a new switch but it's a 2003 and all they had to do was deoxidize it!! Too CooL!! saved a whole lot of money and got them to put some Gibson Vintage reissue strings on it and clean it up!! Long & McQuade's Rocks!!! 28 bucks for everything!!! First test run with a lil tremilo effect!!! Been awhile since I could play it in the middle position!! Both PUP's!!! May not hear it hear but a big difference!!! :D
My guitar teacher Griff Hamlin who is from California put up this lesson...plain jane...to learn how to play it for July 4th on his blog!!! Well I messed with it ever since then I looked on U-tube and listened to Jimmy of course and Slash/Metallica/Zack Wylde and soo on then watched a video of how the song came about!!! What a story...soo the beginning is based around the hardship to say the least before it begin's.....This was not only homework but a eye opener on how the lyric's came about!!! Just tryed to capture the moment in my own lil way....
