This is a grassroots survey conducted by graduates in the architecture industry to determine the current landscape of the industry from the perspective of Part 1 & Part 2 graduates, in addition to the impact COVID-19 has had. We are not affiliated with any professional body, institute or organisation. The reason for this survey is a general dissatisfaction with the job offers in the market, and not having a baseline to compare our expectations against. Personally, we have also heard stories from people who are hesitant to return to Malaysia because of fear of low salaries, unfair treatment, long hours etc. We also know people taking job offers during the pandemic even though they know the job offers are unfair and exploitative. We hope that the data we collect will be able to better inform current and future workers of their expected wages and work.  We took precedent from RIBA Jobs Salary Guide (Please Google it) and were inspired by Future Architects Front (they are on Instagram) Please answer the following questions truthfully, as this data will be used by fellow workers (and you, too!) for negotiations of wage and work with employers.  We do not collect identifying information such as your name, email address or IP address.
