The vacuum in you, which these addictions seek to satisfy but fail to, can only be filled by the experience of purpose fulfillment. The vacuum was created to be filled by the pursuit of your life assignment and could only be filled by that. Consciously respond to those repeated longing for that ‘thing’ by drowning and burying yourself in your purpose.
Convictions must agree with the context of the Scripture. A conviction that takes you farther from God has failed the test either wholly or partially. The unreliability of time as a validator is that true convictions can also fizzle out with time either due to staying away from God or procrastination/disobedience on the part of the individual.
There is this attitude of ‘I know what is there’ when the eternal teacher points our attention to what he wants to reveal at any particular time. There is the feeling of knowing already everything that can be said of that topic/portion of the scripture. However, the teacher calling your attention to it suggests there are still things you do not know, which he is ready to show you.
You know the difference when you lick salt and a substance coated with salt. One has a being and the other has a doing. ‘Doing influence’ is just salt coating. We are to be salts and not salt coated though we are in a state in our world where we settle for coating.
Worrying, weeping and sorrowing are tasking. Worse still, they do not change the situation but compound it. However, prayer that will get the job done is less tasking. Praying eases the burden off you and transfers them to God.
It might be dangerous to rely on your wisdom alone but make sure your counselors are wise and not sentimental and emotional. It is not a case of looking for another counselor until you meet one that agrees with you. The goal is to meet the wise counselor. Whether a wise counselor agrees with you or not, you will sense when you have it.
Why worry when you can pray? God take care of the creatures and you are more valuable than they are. Be confident of his care, love and concern for you. Rather than worry, channel your energy to prayers.
As humans, we want to fashion out everything and be in control of all things. We are thus pushed to worrying unnecessarily. Rather than getting disturbed, you can pray to God who cares for and about you than you do.
Having authorities around tend to make people accountable, this in turn put restraints on our lifestyle. It is advisable on relocation to seek authority figures to whom you can be accountable.
After salvation, growth is next. You are not saved to remain as you are. There is action in your salvation. There is the need to improve and show forth fruit corresponding to a living faith. Faith without good works is dead.
When you genuinely pray for people,you begin to see more to the person beyond those things that attracts ill feelings and ill words. You also begin to see and understand those things from another perspective. You might start reasoning with the person rather than judging as you previously do and others are doing.
Our abilities, which are part of our being, are to be used to meet needs. Rather than making self-centered points, we are to be ministering to needs with our doings. We, as ministers need not show off. Whenever the need arises, our being will through our doings minister to such appropriately.
While it is true to some extent that you should be vast in things needed on our paths, the absolute truth is that we do not know all we are able to do. There are innate abilities in us that have not come to the fore. They will only be observed when the need arise and demand is placed on them.
As leaders and parents, we should build men up to fear and tremble before God and not humans so that the consciousness will remain whether we are present or absent.
Many are losing their savor right in their places because they are out of the secret place. The secret place is not a place but an experience. In the secret place, God shares his mind, opinion and wisdom with us. In the secret place, God shares his nature with us, driving his quality into us. The secret place is limited by our meditation experience.
People build this hope on people, things, events and assumptions. Giving hope to the soul without giving hope to the spirit is only a cosmetic fix. Such superficial hope even at its best is false. It is a hope that rises from your spirit that can work for you in the true sense.
The nation’s outlook is only a reflection of the quality of her people. At times, some nations might have a different outlook from the quality of the people at present. These people might be benefiting from the quality of the previous generation(s) but their quality will form the foundation for the coming generation(s).
There will always be a way that seems right but your convictions will help you see through and avoid such seemingly right paths but are not right in the real sense. Life will keep suggesting shades and alternatives. There will always be that easy path you can take with little or no risk.
If only we could have realized the ‘story behind the story’ as that vacuum longing for a filling and respond appropriately by pursuing our purpose. You will be soothed, relieved, comforted, delighted and settled without doing that ‘thing’.
The time thought as wasted by some might have actually been progressive as the process they are in is part of the vision. Our hearts should see the vision beyond the eventful results; the processes are a large part.
Everyday has its own worry. We are at times bothered about years to come when we are not through with the present. Live in the present and enjoy the uniqueness of the present rather than being troubled about the future.

God’s thoughts differ from man’s thoughts. Therefore, if you imbibe God’s thoughts as yours, your views, actions and responses would begin to differ from others. To stand out is to think differently.
Those who will be trouble-free after death are those who follow godly paths. Those who chose other paths are in great danger. You can only be at peace if you have done the right things. The right things are positioned for everyone in the godly paths. Therefore, to rest in peace is as simple as following godly paths.

The ‘doing influence’ operate on the surface without penetrating the core of the influenced. In the real sense, influence attains the depth in the influenced as in the influencer. A ‘being influence’ would with time influence the being of the influenced while a ‘doing influence’ would rarely go beyond influencing the doings of the influenced
Believers are to be rich in mercy, rich in generosity and rich in service. We are not saved for ourselves but have content of good works always ready to give out to others. Serving others should be our lifestyle.
While some conscious effort made at raising people emanate from request made by people to be raised, there are also those who are challenged to raise others in the course of their growth. The requirement of their assignments or the project of their training includes raising people.
One might be tempted to think a fat pocket brings satisfaction but many have found money but not satisfaction because it was never sited in money. Then fame becomes the likely next search, as it seems the missing thing for those who are rich. Not even the (awards of) achievements could satisfy that longing.
The object of pleasure, which varies from individual to individual, shows prospects of giving satisfaction until one reaches the end of it and realize it has been a mirage. It is with this understanding that pleasure cannot provide the satisfaction desired that some plunge their being into their work and relationships hoping to find satisfaction there.
The righteousness by law i.e. right doing is enough to build a nation. This is why some heathen and unchristian nations are doing fine. They have the righteousness to make things work here on this planet. They do things the way it should be done.
Growth does not occur in a day but over a period, which is filled with different seasons. Each season experienced in the course of growth, whether regular or irregular comes with its own peculiarities and timing. Nevertheless, you grow stronger as you go through all these seasons.
In every detail, we should insist on doing the right things. This is how we spread righteousness to others. In our doing, they learn. Moreover, if we set these ‘doings’ before them long enough, they will imbibe it.
What happen to anybody after this life is not decided then but now. It is not decided after death but before death. Any rite done after death does not influence the afterlife experience of the dead but to satisfy the emotions and consciousness of those left behind. Once dead, the fate of resting in peace has been sealed.
God’s will is that we become holy, not holy according to our definition but according to his definition. His holiness refers to his wholeness, completeness and totality. God wants us to be the whole, complete and total person we were designed to be. To live without sin is only a part of the perfect picture God has for us in his mind.
Ensure you are spiritual in your response as convictions are spiritual matters. Respond from your spirit and not just your senses and emotions. Out of respect for you, many could be counseled out of God’s purpose if you are unspiritual.
As much as you have the right to hear God, others have the right to. All sons have access to the Father. We need to respect this right in one another in the body else, we abuse others. To override people’s rights is to abuse them.
You need to allow God's continuous workings in your life to make you qualitative enough. No material can input quality by itself; you cannot be independent of your manufacturer. Materials that fall out of the manufacturer’s influence would be defective and would not contribute optimally to the building.
Procrastination leads to loss of time, which cannot be regained. It leads to loss of the opportunities embedded in the time lost or/and that lost time could have brought. Relative to others, procrastination leads to loss of progress since there are those who advanced courtesy of the proper usage of that lost time.
A great building is a product of quality materials and good workmanship. In building the nation, every sector must be qualitative enough. These sectors are not tangible; they are made up of people rendering services. Hence, a quality sector is made up of quality people rendering qualitative services.
To make progress, we must see to it that we put all our thoughts on the pursuit as hand. We focus our thoughts by staying with and in that exposure which challenged our pursuit. Our words and actions would go in the direction of our thoughts with time.
Procrastination can be seen as a folly since what is (known) to be done at a particular time is not done but habitually pushed forward. It is instructive that the ‘push’ leads to interruption of the time meant for another thing to be done. Yet there is supposed to be a time and season for everything under the sun.
While there are generally accepted peaks in life, it is expedient to say that they are not your peaks. There is no general peak but specific for every individual. Men have only succeeded in generalizing some people’s peak as peak for others. Therefore, the supposed peak might be below some people’s actual peak and above for others.
You do not arrive at your peak suddenly but grow from time to time to reach your peak. This suggest that peaking is not the project but to grow, and keep growing. Interestingly, growth is only a response to some activities. Concentrate your energy on optimally shooting your root i.e. doing everything you ‘should’ do.
We being called salt by Jesus Christ mean we have many good to offer our world; we only offer these goods when we have our savor intact. Losing the savor is losing our purpose. Salts lose their savor when wrongly stored. The owner of our salt knows this and places us in the right location.
Many have come to know the path God wants them to walk. Many have realize the ‘would be outcome’ of their walk in such paths. Many have decided to walk in their God-given paths. Yet many have failed to walk in those paths. Obedience is not achieved by power nor by might but by the Spirit of God.
When you worry, you are communicating independence, that you can handle things by yourself. To gain peace, we need to act out God’s instructions and not react to our fears. Beyond keeping you in peace, these instructions when implemented are capable of solving the challenges; they do not just provide relief but brings about the cure.
God does not just speak to entertain; he expects corresponding responses to his words. He looks forward to us living by what he tells us. He is not just opening his mind to us for us to nod our heads, shout ‘glory’ and keep it in our notes.
Walking in obedience will require you to fix your thoughts on the instructions given to you until they saturate your thoughts. You do with ease what your thoughts are saturated with. Therefore, you cannot let out of your eyes and ears those instructions for long. You need to live in and with the instructions.
Time management, which is the antidote to procrastination, depends on prioritization, which in itself is a function of correct value placement on every activity. A correct valuation of the importance and impact of our activities with respect to our ultimate goal(s) need to be done consciously and continuously as we swim in the sea of activities.
In measuring your progress, your compliance level to what God has shown you would be a true test. Your progress is in how much you have done in what you are expected to do. It is about how much instruction you are yet to obey.
The teacher wants to write new things on your board (heart) but need space to do that. If he is to write on your filled board, then he will have to find a corner/tiny space amidst the much content on your board to do so. You will not be able to track some writings; they would be lost in the multitude of your revelations.
Without doing much about the vision, you could still make money by doing things that would fetch money. Unless your vision was to make money in the first place, never use money to measure how you are faring in your vision.
Those who do what God wants will be granted access to the best places he has prepared. That soon to be manifested planet is the best this present one cannot be. To be present in that planet is to have the best qualitative life possible. A person in that world has moved from ‘forever existence’ to ‘forever living’.
Everyone share more secrets with those who are close than those who are far. Relationship strength determines the quality of information you let out to people. Just as you have your people whom you share things with, God has his own people.
As you keep on walking, you get accustomed to your shoes; you master the art of walking well with your shoes. You soon become confident, walking properly on your path carrying out your assigned tasks. Such a proper walk leave marks in the sand of time without any extra effort.
In these days of the New Testament, we are privileged not to be subjected to prophets and seers before we know, because we have the Spirit of the prophets in us. Right from within us, the Sirit unfolds God’s plans including our path(s), which only he is privy to.

Yes, almost everyone would be ready to take glory for decisions that goes well but the assurance of such is the challenge.

We need to add to our faith, patience. This patience is more than waiting; it is about our attitude and actions while we wait. It is about having an active faith until we obtain that we so eagerly look forward to.When you give up, faith is no longer at work but doubt. Doubt cannot obtain!
A tree that would have grown stronger over say 30 years would have experienced series of seasons in a repeated cycle over those years. Despite all forms, kind and variation of seasons that might have been experienced, there are still some that has never been experienced. The tree has grown stronger in the presence and absence of those seasons because it has learnt to adapt to them.
Just like your words flows out of your thoughts, the Word of God is an expression of his thoughts. Exposing yourself to his word is exposing yourself to his thoughts concerning you. Yes, he is thinking of you and those thoughts are good. Your cognizance of his thoughts makes you see things from another perspective, which is the best perspective.
It is not enough to be saved; there is more in God’s mind beyond that encounter. It is only meant to be the beginning of many beautiful things to come. It is to kick-start the process of bringing out the real you, which is without fault. This real you is beautiful and wonderful.
You cannot meditate well when there are several thoughts clogging your wheel of meditation. God knows those stuffs take too much space, the space you would need to receive much revelation. God has reserved space for them elsewhere; maximize that provision.
Yes, no one would want a mediocre in charge of responsibilities but the so-called mediocre need platforms to prove their competences, which could possibly launch them into greatness. People also readily forget that the so-called preferred giants started young while denying the now young.
In due season, God causes people to perceive his presence with us. Not that he was not with us all along, but that is when he chooses to announce it to others. In due season, God would open people’s eyes. He might open at individual rate, small clusters rate or large group rate. His choice is what makes him God.
You grow stronger when you learn to respond appropriately to the different seasons you come across in life. You cannot grow stronger by just passing through one kind of season. Thus, you are stronger when you have the upper hand over the seasons of your life. This does not necessarily mean you were not knocked out a few times, you just did not stay down.
One would be with God and vice versa when one live by God’s terms. Staying true to those instructions, the general and especially the customized ones, is securing the greatness God has prepared for you. Also, it is God that open people’s eyes to perceive his presence with you. It is not the forms that does it but the present God himself.
People are perceived as great because something the people esteem is with them. For a people that esteem money and properties, any one with such in large quantities is taken to be great. For those that esteem power, anyone in lofty and high positions is taken to be great. For a people that esteem fame, anyone with a large and cult followership is perceived to be great. True greatness is tied to people perceiving one having the greatest and true God with one.
Being always conscious of self gives one a narrow perspective; seeing situations from only one angle and with just a ‘pair of eyes’. However, in our desire to consider others, we should not reduce our decisions to ‘people pleasing’. Rather we should be God pleasers when there is a contradiction between what God and men want.
If it is all about fame, you can do anything to become famous. In fact, stupid things bring fame faster. If you insist on fame and a wide reach, what about vision whose details has restricted environment? If you progress in the real sense, you will reach your predestined audience.
Discovery suggests uncovering something that has been covered. These coverings include ignorance, inexperience, fear, doubt, self-preservation and the likes. These coverings could be removed through service.
Jesus went about doing good; he was in motion not waiting to be summoned. With God working in us to build a capacity in us, we should look out for opportunities to express this.
Making shortsighted decisions that only focuses on meeting the immediate demands might only prove with time to be superficial and inimical to the ‘tomorrow’. This is not same as been anxious of the future. In fact a sound decision would put anxiety away while immediate gratification based decisions would fuel anxiety.
To remain convinced you need to keep hearing and listening to that which convinced you. You remain by listening to the same source. You cannot hold on to God's thoughts outside of him. You cannot keep thinking like God without fellowship. It's our continuous fellowship with God that keeps us in these convictions.
Our feelings would always vary. Such instability cannot guarantee stable decisions. Emotions dull and sometimes color our reasoning and responses. Emotions alter the ordering of things in our minds. Emotions introduce bias into our thoughts.
There are many convictions that are not literally mentioned but could be validated in the Scripture when one allows the Author to minister to one in the course of meditation. In checking conformity with the Scripture, one needs to look beyond the literal expression. One must check if such convictions agree with the character of God.
When you have made up your mind to give up some things for God, the people around you might tend to resist on your behalf. As you release the reins of your life to your lord, people will out of genuine concern try to stop you. This resistance will never stop.
There are those people in your life, which ought to know by the virtue of their relationship with you. They may ask and they might not. You need to ascertain in your spirit what, when and how you should share with them.
As humans, we secretly crave for people's approval but we have to learn how to tame this craving. This is one of the proceeds of being dead and crucified to be alive to God. To be dead and crucified with Christ is to unresponsive to the thoughts of men (when it contradicts God's thoughts)
God's perspective remains the true perspective to view things from. Be more concerned and satisfied that you are pleasing God. If God is okay with you, you can feel good. Being pleasing to God produce joy in you, which is the true and ultimate happiness.
Being involved with people that welcome your convictions would encourage you in your convictions. In the same regard, being comfortable with people that are neutral or opposed to your convictions would be an easy leeway out of your convictions. In keeping faith with your convictions, accountability would be of great help.
Our faith is best expressed and communicated via our lifestyles. Beyond words and rhetoric, we should endeavor to show forth the work of God in us through good works.
You must bear in mind that your convictions are rooted your spirit. You were also convinced of those convictions in your spirit by the Spirit. Hence, convictions are spiritual matters, which occur at the spiritual realm.
Talk less to people about what you think God want you to do with your life. They will convince you otherwise if you keep telling everybody. You must learn how to give answers even to those very close to you when they inquire. Let events as they unfold tell people what you are doing.

Colors are used to identify and describe an item. For anyone who has decided to belong to Christ circle, he/she must be identified and described by the circle’s color. That color has its standard defined by the color of Christ, around whom the circle is built.
What you expose yourself to, would bring out a corresponding color out of from within you. You need to select your exposure consciously to have control over the color that is manifesting out of you. You need to place Christ before you constantly to be able to show your color, which is Christ.

Without trying to appear a snub or arrogant, treat expectations based on priority. Your priority should be to please God. This priority will agree with some people's opinions when their opinions agree with God's. The fact that someone opinion was in line yesterday does not imply it would be today.

Yes, you have talents. However, you need to drift into the worldly standard to cut it in this world. When you start with God, stay with God and not drift. You can find expression without compromising your God standard.
While we appreciate and are provoked by the standards and outcomes in others, we must be sensitive to the Holy Spirit within us if we are to adopt such or not.
We bring sudden death on different aspects of our lives when we start copying the standard of others in that area. This ‘death-to-the-standard-copiers’ occur in phases.
When we constantly expose our hearts to the word of God, it separates and put aside the impurities in whatever form it might be. When we meditate habitually, we have a better perspective of our situations, our world and ourselves because we see God more clearly.
We are not saved by good works but saved to do good works. We are not saved to irresponsibility but to carry out those good things God has planned for us a long time ago. This is an appropriate response to this saving grace.
Some businesses are lost in the crowd of competition out there because they lack uniqueness. In running families, some are copying the standards of other families and are experiencing death in their relationships.
An answer to prayers is not the end of praying. Prayer is a continuous exercise, which can be done anywhere and anytime, a yielding to that prompting in us to communicate with God. Prayer is our life.

We should look beyond people’s actions and respond by doing what is appropriate, which will display the God at work in us. Therefore, we should go beyond being fair, just as God went beyond being fair in his relationship with us.
Sometimes, we are bold to stand by the right in front of some but when it comes to doing it before people who should know but are not doing we backtrack and soft-pedal. Therefore, we are intimidated because we want them to look good.
Be motivated by love and not self. Anything done out of love has a lasting value. Genuine love, the God kind of love is perfect and brings a better result than whatever is done out of self.
It is wicked to pay evil for good. It is wicked to be unkind to those who are unkind to you. It is wicked to ignore those who care about you in their need. So while it is fair to pay good for good and fair to pay evil for evil, it is wicked to pay evil for good.
We should be conscious of being vessels in the hand of God and not God. In whatever capacity God is using us, men should not see us but God working through us; we are not to be idolized.
Love in its many dimensions brings the real value to all we do. We need to do all we do with love and approach whatever challenges may come up with love. Love does not rule out challenges.
When people fail to ‘show up’ for us, we are forced to look up to the one we should have looked up to in the first place. When you think you are deserted, refuse to be disappointed. Rather, see it as another opportunity to strengthen your confidence in God.
It is the passenger-the Spirit that people want to see primarily and not the car-the gifts. Pushing forward the gifts without the Spirit will lead to disappointment. After the razzmatazz of the display of the vehicle’s glamour, people will look deeper to receive the passenger. Would it be an empty vehicle?
