Sven Longshanks and Max Musson discuss the later life of the great megalith investigator and historian.

William Stukeley was the first to really recognise the value of our megalithic monuments and he popularised them and drew links between them and Britain’s Druidic past.

He became an authority on all matters to do with pre-Roman Britain and started the interest in Druids which has lasted until today.
