In a surprise that wasn't, Gov. Andrew Cuomo revealed on Feb 5, 2019, that New York State had lost $2.3 billion in tax revenues. A culmination of the efforts to enforce the path to a Progressive capital in the nation. While Cuomo tried to deflect the cause, it cannot be denied that bad economic policy coupled with demands that public comply or leave the State is the cause. We highlight the reality that led to this falling domino of consequence, sure to be followed by many more.
