Who needs to hear, “Good job?”  

Everyone.

Praise matters, and how we give praise matters, too. 

As creative people, we can be our own worst critics.  Pushing yourself to improve will lead to better art.  Constantly berating yourself will drag you down.  Make sure you find a balance.

And if you don’t hear it from anyone else, you may need to say to yourself, "Good job."
