About Our Guest: Gene Dockery is a third year doctoral student at Ohio University in Counselor Education and Supervision. They are also a licensed professional counselor working in community mental health specializing in queer populations and trauma. Their research focuses on addressing inequalities in both higher education and healthcare for members of the LGBTQIA community and other marginalized groups.
