I wish I could ask you this question face-to-face: How are you doing, REALLY? But more important than me asking you this question, is for you to ask yourself: How am I really doing? In this episode, I want to invite you to a short time of self-reflection with a few questions. I want us to pay attention to our inner world for the purpose of figuring out what we need to move forward in a way that’s healthy for us and for our families.
Show Notes:
This week’s practice:
This week’s practice is to spend a few minutes paying attention to your inner world, to see what it might want to show you. Ask yourself, How am I feeling? What’s not working right now? And what do I need to do in order to feel like a human?
Either write down a few thoughts, or talk it through with a friend. If you have some tangible takeaways, that’s great! But if not, it’s enough for now to simply notice and name what you see. That’s a great place to start, and sometimes paying attention to what is true is all we need to adjust our perspective and get a fresh start.
