With several significant Kings stories percolating, Mayor’s Minutes returned to NHL Network Radio this week. In an all-new segment, John Hoven joined Jake Hahn and Victoria Matiash to share a fresh batch of hockey related opinions. Among the topics covered were: Peter Laviolette being named LA’s new head coach, what happened with DJ Smith, the next topics needing to be addressed by Ken Holland this offseason, Quintion Byfield, Drew Doughty, naming a new captain, and Darcy Kuemper’s status. As if that’s not enough to talk about, they also spent a little time chatting up Vegas and Carolina entering Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final.
