Bio:

William (Bill)Gebhardt is the founder of 10Dynamics and developer of TAD – a technology theydeveloped for systematic trading across multiple markets. TAD is theculmination of nearly 30 years of investment experience in a broad range ofmarkets combined with a rigorous academic background and practical quantitativeexpertise.

Mr.Gebhardt’s experience can be divided into two parts. First, as an academic and“quant”, he received a PhD in Finance from Cornell University focused onapplying trading strategies grounded in behavioral finance theories to equitiesand corporate bonds. He held a position as an Assistant Professor of Finance atthe University of California at Davis and later worked for Barclays GlobalInvestors where he was responsible for the research and development of tradingsignals for BGI’s European Long/Short Equity portfolio.

The secondpart of Mr. Gebhardt’s career focused on proprietary trading and overseeinglarge proprietary trading businesses. Mr. Gebhardt worked in various roles forcommodity trading businesses including Deutsche Bank as Managing

Director,Head of European Power and Gas Trading and most recently as a Partner for aprivate equity funded energy trading merchant, Trailstone, where he wasresponsible for Trailstone’s European business.

Mr.Gebhardt founded 10Dynamics in February 2020 and working with a small team ofcolleagues has fully implemented and automated the TAD system.

Mr.Gebhardt has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, an M.S. in Finance and a PhD inFinance. He has published peer-reviewed academic papers in the Journal ofAccounting Research and Journal of Financial Economics.
