Ontario Lakeside Wedding – Mohawk Park, Brantford, Ontario A Canadian girl marries a French boy by a beautiful little Lake in Brantford, Ontario.

I bumped into these guys in 2016 in Lausanne, Switzerland. We kept in touch over social media and I traveled to Ontario to photograph their wedding this summer. This world is crazy small, and the connections + friendships you can build and maintain over social media is so powerful, It blows my mind.

Jerusha + Jonathan’s wedding day was surrounded by friends and family who had traveled far distances to be there with them for their Ontario Lakeside Wedding. They had a small outdoor ceremony by a lake and committed their lives to love, honor, and serve one another. I felt so privileged to be a part of their day.

During the shoe game at their reception:

‘Who has the better sense of fashion?’ Both put up the groom’s shoe and Jerusha yelled “Well he’s French. DUH”.

‘Who of you is typically the first person to apologize?’ Both put up the bride’s shoe and Jonathan yelled “Ummm she’s Canadian. So, DUH”.
